At Deer Creek Reservoir today, I saw my first yellowlegs (8 Greater and 2
Lesser) viewed from the Miller Road picnic area and a single Tree Swallow.
An Ospry was setting up house on one of the Pancoastburg area nest
platforms. Also seen around the lake were 500+ Ring-billed Gulls, a few
Herring Gulls, Scaup, Redheads, Ring-necked Ducks, Ruddies, Canvasbacks,
American Coots, Northern Shovelers, and a few Mallards and American
Widgeons.
