A "mixed flock" of resident and migrant birds has been hanging out in my
yard the past week. They travel about together, feed together and squabble
at times. It's fun to watch them. :) It got interesting on Sunday (Sep. 10)
when a Yellow-bellied Flycatcher and a Lincoln's Sparrow joined the group.
I saw the same flock yesterday while I was mowing.

Also, Ruby-throated Hummingbirds are still frequenting my feeders - nobody
has mentioned them in a while.

Mixed flock:
1 Yellow-bellied Flycatcher
1 Eastern Phoebe
5 Eastern Bluebirds
5 Chipping Sparrows
1 Lincoln's Sparrow
3 Song Sparrows
