The Male Long-tailed Duck remains at 72nd Street; a very colorful specimen! A spattering of waterfowl remains as Jen reported, including Gadwall, American Black Duck, Canvasback, Redhead, Lesser Scaup, Mallards. No unusual gulls noted ( no Bonaparte's ). One Red-tail overhead. Did not arrive till after 10AM. Stopped at Sims Park on the way home. Goldeneyes were the main attraction here -44, Bald Eagle-1, Bufflehead-2, Red-breasted Mergs, Ring-bills. Fairly quiet at 1PM but a beautiful, sunny day.
Sally Isacco, Chardon
