All,
Today from work I checked out the gulls that apparently are nesting on the Wolstein Center, 2121 Euclid Ave in Cleveland (was called the CSU Convocation Center). Ring-billed Gulls are listed as confirmed breeders in the Ohio Breeding Bird Atlas block 41a5ne. I couldn't see nests, or any real signs of nesting from my vantage point.
What I could see was about 900+ gulls on the roof. Pretty cool.
Also, there are Winter Wrens nesting in Hinckley Reservation area of Cleveland Metroparks OBBA block 41C5NW. I personally heard 2 singing males, one was found carrying food into a cavity by Miles Reed. A 3rd male found by Miles in another Hinckley location.
Summer birding rocks!
