Had a barred owl at my home feeder this evening - more accurately on the beech tree near the bird feeders.
While the barred owl was resting there, a nuthatch, some chickadees an tufted titmice (somewhat nervously) visited the feeders.
I have seen no chipmunks recently and observed that the number of both red and gray squirrels at the feeders are down.
