I started birding at Headlands Beach today from 9-10:20 with Roger Beuck, Ray, and Jerry.
Highlights: 40 Tunda Swans, Bufflehead, Red-breasted Mergs, Ruddy's, C. Loons, Fox Sparrow, and
Pine Siskin.
Next stop was with Jim McConnor at Fairport Harbor from 10:30-11. Highlights: both Scaup, W-W
Scoter, Bufflehead, and Hooded Merg.
Third stop was to Ladue Resevoir from 12-12:30. Highlights: at least 200 Tundra Swans, G-W Teal,
R-N Ducks, scaup sp., Bufflehead, Ruddy's, C. Loon, 4 eagles, A. coot, and siskins.
Final stop was a drive down Hayes Road in Middlefield from 1-1:30. Highlights: 1 harrier, 1 rough-
legged hawk, and 3 kestrels.
On the way, we had 3 Sandhill Cranes on Aquilla Road in Chardon.
