Saturday, January 8, we saw a flock of 65 snow buntings flying between the
South Bass Island Airport and a tree just to the northeast of the Skyway
Restaurant. Everyone attending a wake there for birdlover Mary Ladd Carr
(one of the benefactors of Ladd Carr Wildlife Woods) got to see them! They
have reportedly been in the area the last few days.
