I just had an unexpected Black-crowned Night-Heron flush out of the evergreen trees near our house (York Township, western Union County). I was able to get a few pictures, one can be seen at http://blakemathys.com/BCNHprop.html

That is species #153 for our property (we moved here in May 2011). Great bird!
