There were just a few shorebirds at the hatchery today. One Sanderling, one Stilt Sandpiper, one Ruddy Turnstone, one Lesser Yellowlegs, 3 Spotted Sandpipers, 40+ Killdeer. Five or six of the smaller ponds were drawn down and two of then had satisfactory shorebird habitat. There were plenty of Buckeye butterflies.
