This morning there were 21 Bonaparte's Gulls with only a few Ring-bills on Caesar Creek beach. If this flock builds up there could well be a fellow-traveler of another species with them.
The other day I had a call about a possible Snowy Owl in Clinton County on State
Road 350 in a field just west of Clarksville. Lenna Mae and I checked it out and found nothing as did Shane Eggleston. However, anyone driving around this area should keep eyes open for a possible sighting.
Chilly Day Cheers, Larry Gara
