While there is still ice on much of the lake at Rocky Fork, there's plenty
of open water all around the park.
Birds on the water seen today:
Canada Geese - largest group seen was 170, with many smaller groups around
the lake
Mallard 65
Wood Duck 4
American Wigeon 15
Northern Pintail 7
Canvasback 6
Redhead 23
Ring-necked Duck 3
Greater Scaup 5
Lesser Scaup 5
Scaup 30
Bufflehead 1
Common Goldeneye 3
Hooded Merganser 40
Red-breasted Merganser 17
Ruddy Duck 1
Horned Grebe 3
American Coot 60
