A somewhat chilly ride on the Valley Parkway to Berea was rewarded with
great views of the 3 Surf Scoters at Coe Lake as reported by Tom F.
yesterday.
In addition to the Scoters, we saw a Redhead, Hooded Mergs, Wood Ducks
and a variety of other ducks, a Red-Shouldered Hawk, a Pileated
Woodpecker and a couple Belted Kingfishers.
Highlight during the ride included many FOS E. Phoebes, and some Rusty
Blackbirds.
See you on the trails,
Chris Pierce
