The links below are to a mediocre Sora photo and an unknown that might be a Sora chick.

The small brown bird seemed pretty competent to be a young bird, and was not "hanging out"
with the Sora. It was running along the edge of the water (i.e. not feeding) in the
direction of the Sora before I lost it in the cattails.

Any ideas what it is?
