Hello All... I just received a cell call (about 1:15 PM) from Kent Miller et al who are watching 2 adult Little Gulls, 1 first-year Little Gull, a 1st-year Harlequin Duck, Brant Geese, many Scoters, and much more from Fairport Harbor near the beach area where there is also some protection, at the picnic shelter, from the rain/wind. Take the Fairport Harbor exit off SR 2, not too far East of where SR 44 S intersects with SR 2. This beach area is just a bit E of the boat launch area and lighthouse that sets up on the hill. This same harbor can be viewed from the Mentor Headlands side of the river, just E of the breakwall that leads to the Headlands lighthouse. Best of luck in finding these and other rare Ohio birds!
