My husband and birded at Avon Lake Power Plant seeing the regular gulls
and hundreds of migrating cormorants, flying or congregating in the water.
Also saw a brown creeper and possibly other warblers but too far away to
positively identify. At Lorain Harbor we saw a coot, more gulls, a white-
throated sparrow and numerous ruby-crowned kinglets along the marshy area.
A black stray cat begin following us in the marsh. Also saw lots of wooly
bears, some with very wide orange sections.
