Yesterday (5 Dec.), while traveling west to east on I-70, Susan Jones and I saw two flocks of cranes.
The first was just west of the Indianapolis airport, the second near Rt. 42, Plain City, Ohio. Both flocks
had 16-20 birds and were headed in a southerly direction. Obviously, the birds are on the move.
