Subject: Harris's Sparrow, Apple Creek 12/30


The Harris's Sparrow was present today at the Troyer residents in Apple Creek. I arrived at 3:50pm and birded from the road in my truck for all of 2 minutes, when Andy Troyer came out to greet me. I was kindly welcomed into the house for great views of the first year Harris's Sparrow.

Also, a Northern Mockingbird was a nice, unexpected visitor while I was there. I hadn't seen a Mockingbird since March, at the Shreve Spring Migration Sensation.
