A male Orchard Oriole was feeding in our 2 red flowering Quince bushes in the backyard
early this morning. I heard one singing 3 days ago but was unable to spot the beautiful creature until today. A male Yellow-Shafted Flicker was probing for breakfast items under the nearby maple tree.
Male Bob-o-links began arriving in our grassland acreage 3 days ago. Meadowlarks are also numerous in the grasslands.
