Hey All!
At my feeder today, I had a Rosebreasted Grosbeak!!
My brother had bragged to me that he has had one also! He-he, I got one,
too!!
Also, we stopped at Harmon's Landing, just inside Mercer County and found a
female RB Grosbeak!
Tufted Titmouse carrying food to a cavity!!
Catbird
Yellow Warbler
Chimney Swift
Tree Swallow
CAGO
GBH
Robin
Warb Vireo
RB gulls
and a bird we could NOT ID!! I took some photos but the bird is against the
trunk of a tree, making ID impossible.
Friday evening, we cruised Grand Lake St Marys and found a Redtail Hawk
nest;
Osprey
Bald Eagles ;-)
DC Cormorants :-(
and the ever present CAGO with babies.
Today, at Anderson's, we found 10+ soft-shelled turtles!!
Not many migrants as we expected!! in fact - NONE!
But, we are headed for Magee Marsh!!! Bring on the South winds!!
Take care everybirdy,
Jill Bowers
Auglaize County
