This morning I checked out Conneaut Harbor and Lake Shore Park in Ashtabula. Waterbirds were in decent variety but rather low numbers: buffleheads, hooded mergansers, red-breasted mergansers, common loons, pied-billed grebe, double-crested cormorants, bald eagle, Am. coots, Bonaparte's gulls, and great black-backed gull were highlights.
