E 12th & Rockwell, downtown Cleveland
At lunch break, saw my first junco of this season, mixed with white-
throated and song sparrows. Then another sparrow-type confounded me ...
finely streaked breast, back streaking semeed finer, light belly, 3 brown
lines below eye, behind eye & above eye, gray in between brown lines,
creamy-yellowish "mustache" and was hopping beneath shrubby with its tail
cocked upright. Wish I'd had a camera and/or field guide!! Happy birding.
