Hello Everyone,
This evening there were at least 4 Short-eared Owls
visible hunting at Pickerington Ponds Metropark in
Franklin County. A single bird was visible in the
field south of Wood Duck Pond. The other 3 were in a
field on the north side of Schoolhouse Rd.
Schoolhouse Rd is the first turn you come to if
heading east from Ellis Pond on Wright Rd. There has
also been a single Rough-legged Hawk in the area for
about 2 weeks.
