Hello all,
Late this afternoon, there was a flock of at least 70, and upwards of 75,
American Golden-Plovers in the fallow field N of Schiller Rd., and W of
Benton-Carroll Rd., about a mile E of Rocky Ridge (Ottawa Co.). Small
groups were departing off to the south and west while I was there, but some
remained thru 5:50 PM. The vast majority were transitional-plumaged
adults, though I did note 2-3 fresh juveniles.
Good birding,
Justin
