It was a beautiful afternoon to bird at Sandy Ridge. The woodpeckers in
the woods were very vocal. I'm getting used to my new scope and my
sightings included:
Red-bellied Woodpeckers
White-breasted Nuthatch
Red-headed Woodpeckers
Mallards
Pied-billed Grebes
Gadwalls
Northern Shovelers
American Coots
Eastern Bluebirds
Great Blue Heron
Downy Woodpeckers
Green-winged Teals
American Wigeons
Northern Pintails
Tree Sparrow
Blue Jay
Song Sparrows
Ruddy Ducks
Double-crested Cormorant
Tufted Titmouse
Canada Goose
At my home feeders and pond:
