Hello!
During lunch time on Tuesday, March 20, I ran over to the nest behind the
ABB building just south of Polaris Parkway/Maxtown Road and west of Cleveland
Avenue in Westerville. This past Friday (March 16th), I observed the Bald
Eagle pair at/near the nest with the female adding sticks to the nest. However,
on Tuesday, a Red-Tailed Hawk was back in the nest with its mate soaring
overhead. I also observed a Red-Tailed Hawk pair in the nest a few weeks ago
and the Bald Eagle pair at the nest a few weeks or so before that. It will be
interesting to see which pair eventually wins over the nest.
