Sunday 15 May and Monday 16 May I observed Eastern Kingbirds and Tree Swallows feeding on insects near the edge the prairie. Today I observed a pair of Tree Swallows flying in and out of a nest box in the prairie. I hope they are going to nest, if they do that will be a first for the ranch.
