Eastern screech-owl - 5, fledglings
Right before dusk robins began making a ruckus in the pin oaks in the
backyard. Last night I found an adult eastern screech-owl. Tonight's find was a
group of five owlets that Bob and I observed head-bobbing, making rasping
calls and flying from branch to branch and tree to tree. One landed on the
ground near us, too.
