The putative Kelp Gull settled in to Springfield Lake right before dark at 530 tonight likely to spend the night. Tomorrow morning at 700 AM should be by far the best chance yet to see this bird. It will likely be gone by 745 at the latest.  The park on the south side of the lake should be the best spot to watch.
