Thanks for all of the responses. It was unanimous amongst all the responses
that it was a juvenile Spotted Sandpiper. I still struggle with a few birds
that I don't see very often.

Subject: [Ohio-birds] mystery sandpiper id help needed
I went to East Harbor State Park yesterday in search of shore birds. There
were several Short-billed Dowitchers, Lesser Yellowlegs, Killdeer and
Semi-palmated Sandpipers. Afterwards, I went around to the end of Buck Rd to
the other side of the mudflats. There was a large group of Caspian Terns, a
Bald Eagle and a Peregrine Falcon as well as numerous Canada Geese. One
sandpiper was running around the mudflats close to where I was, but I'm not
sure what species he was. Any help would be appreciated. He can be seen
here:

Thanks in advance.
