There is an apparent Ross’s goose at Dawes Lake, The Dawes Arboretum this afternoon (Oct. 15). I have contacted the staff there, who are trying to determine whether anyone has seen this bird before today. I know I haven’t. FYI, the most recent and closest report of Ross’s goose on eBird is Oct. 8 at Montezuma NWR in New York, so it’s definitely a possibility that this is a true migrant. I have posted photos on Facebook.
Dawes Arboretum is in Licking Co., south of Newark on SR 13.
