I stopped by East 72nd for no more than 15 minutes this morning and had the
following: Glaucous gull (4), Kumlien's Iceland gull (2), Lesser
black-backed gull (1), and Great black-backed x herring gull hybrid (1
adult). In addition to the numerous herring, ring-billed, great
black-backed and single Bonaparte's gulls that gives 7 species of gulls in
15 minutes. To top it off, it was about 50 degrees.
