Well spring is here. I just got back from Big Isle, and there were RWBB on every snag on the old ponds, singing and showing off. Killdeer were in the fields kree-ing away, and those darn Canadians were making enough noise to wake the dead.
About a dozen ring billed gulls were flying around looking for supper. A dozen American Widgeon, aboutt he same amount of mallards and four American Black Ducks were there as well as a couple of Harriers. Three or four song sparrows finished the list for the day.
