I have a pair of Leica 8x32BN Trinovid binoculars I got many years ago, maybe 10 to 15 years ago.
Once I got my Swarovski’s I seldom used them.

I got the Leica’s out this past fall and found I could not adjust them for distant use.

So I contacted Leica USA. Sent them in.

I just picked them up from UPS.

Here is what they did:

1) repair sleeves
2) repair and adjust focus
3) adjust collimation
4) clean optics
5) clean magnifiers
6) purge with nitrogen
7) replace armour covering
8) clean, lubricate, adjust all functions.

NO CHARGE, all under warranty. Free shipping both ways.

I am impressed.

I just thought a good word for them was needed.

Other than owning these binoculars, I have no association with Leica.
