A pleasant surprise this morning was the first eastern phoebe of the year at our place, sitting on 
the front porch railing a-waggin' its tail, eyeballing a junco a foot away in the bird feeder there. 
We're in western Holmes County, one mile east of the greater Nashville metroplex.
