I was at Conneaut this morning
No shorebirds here
the highlight was a single BRANT that showed up and spent time feeding along the wall
a Peregrine Falcon made several appearances here harassing the gulls
it captured a Bonaparte`s but dropped it and it flew away
there was still a Marsh Wren here and number of both kinglets,White-crowned & White-throated Sparrows & Yellow-rumps
had a Brown Creeper here
2 Tree Swallows
1 adult Great Black-backed Gull
I saw a green wing-tagged Ring-billed Gull
I have never seen a wing-tagged gull before
in front were 3 Black-crowned Night Herons and 2 Soras
I stopped at Pymatuning
in a cove at the causeway
39 Pectoral Sandpiper
7 Dunlin
17 Lesser Yellowlegs
2 Semi-palmated Plover
52 Green-winged Teal
2 Common Merganser
a Peregrine Falcon attacked the shorebirds but came up empty
