At about 4PM today, the previously reported Red-necked Grebe at Guilford Lake, in Columbiana County, was still present. This is at least the 13th day the celebrity bird has been here. Easy viewing with a scope is achieved from the Mark's Landing Restaurant parking lot off of State Route 172. Other birds of interest seen were: 1 Ring-necked Duck, 3 Bufflehead, 22 Hooded Mergansers, 15 Ruddy Ducks, 1 Pied-billed Grebe, 1 Bald Eagle, 1 Cooper's Hawk, 9 American Coots, and 12 Bonaparte's Gull.
