While atlassing in eastern Clinton County today, Larry Gara and I ran across
a pair (male and female) of Blue Grosbeaks. The birds were on a wire
overlooking a cornfield at the corner of Bernard Road and New Antioch Road
(Old DeLorme, p 76, B3). The massive beak and cinnamon wing bars were
clearly seen on the male, but the birds flew before we could make detailed
observations.
Cheers,
Bob
