== Memo to all Hummingbird enthusiast == Please join the Hummerwatch list
and log your first sightings of Ruby-throated Hummingbirds in the Spring
and the last one you see in the Fall. Also list the number of Ruby-
throated Hummingbirds at your feeders weekly. Over time, the Hummer/Bird
Banding Research Collaborative hopes to compile timelines, location
specific geographic movement, and population counts/fluctuations
throughout Ohio, KY and IN.
We also plan to monitor movements of western hummingbirds through Ohio, IN
and KY to better determine timelines, track possible flight
routes/patterns and determine whether or not western hummingbirds are
present in larger numbers during the winter than previously thought.
Log your sightings at the Hummerwatch list.
