Birded this am around Columbus with Lynn Singleton, Gerry Brevoort, and
Nina Hawranick. We found a Pine Warbler and a single Redbreasted Nuthatch
feeding on the large suet block at Greenlawn cemetery feeders. There were
many, many woodpeckers around and we heard one sapsucker.
Watermark Quarries had Redheaded Ducks, many Ring-Necked Ducks,a single
Blue Winged Teal, many Hooded Mergansers, a single Mute Swan, a single
Bonaparte's Gull. Whittier had Hooded Mergansers. Griggs Damn had a single
Great Blue Heron.
Lots of lonely birds.
