There was a lot of movement on the lake today. Lots of red-breasted
mergansers and steady flow of Bonaparte's gulls all day. Best birds were an
adult BLACK-HEADED GULL observed flying west around 9:15 and a breeding
plumaged eared grebe that floated by to the east.
I watched the lake off and on all day and also added a lesser black-backed
gull. I'm guessing 200+ Caspain terns passed by today
