Some of the birds seen or heard while hiking eleven miles of mostly uplands
along the Mohican100 trail today: Black-throated Blue Warbler (1),
Black-throated Green Warbler (many), Brown Creeper (two singing along gas
line ROW), Northern Parula (2), Yellow-throated Warbler (2), Black and
White Warbler (half doz. plus), Louisiana Waterthrush (several),
Blue-winged Warbler (1), Summer Tanager (3), Scarlet Tanager (many), Pine
Warbler (many), Yellow-rumped Warbler (2), Red-breasted Nuthatch (3
singing), Wood Thrush (many), Acadian Flycatcher (1), Ovenbird (many),
Hooded Warbler (</= many), etc.
