I spent some time at several spots along the Scioto River in Columbus, starting with a transect around Scioto Audubon Park. The windy overcast weather seemed to ground a fair fallout of migrants, mostly temperate but with a few neotropicals. As is often the case in Spring, the sites south of downtown (Scioto Audubon Park) held many more migrants than the site north of it (Marble Cliff). Notables included:

Cormorants - 4 in the bay at Scioto Audubon, another 2 at Marble Cliff
Pied-billed Grebe - 1 in Watermark quarry
Osprey - 1 sitting on the platform at Scioto Audubon (though no nest building was evident)
Sapsuckers - 5+ along the bikepath at Scioto Audubon
Flickers - 6+ along the same bikepath; another 2 at Marble Cliff
Chimney Swift - 1 over the Grange Center at Scioto Audubon
Swallows - 30+ Tree, 20+ Rough-winged, and 10+ Barn foraging over the river and wetlands at Scioto Audubon
Brown Creeper - 1-2 along the bikepath at Scioto Audubon
Winter Wren - 1 singing along the bikepath at Scioto Audubon
Ruby-crowned Kinglets - 2-3 at Scioto Audubon, another 2 at Marble Cliff
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher - good fallout, with 25+ along the bikepath at Scioto Audubon; another 2-3 at Marble Cliff
Hermit Thrush - 1 along the bikepath at Scioto Audubon
Brown Thrasher - 1 singing in the scrub northwest of the Grange Center
Mockingbird - 2 hanging around the edges of the old impound lot at Scioto Audubon
Yellow Warbler - 1 singing around wetlands at Scioto Audubon
Yellow-throated Warblers - 1 singing along bikepath at Scioto Audubon, another along bikepath at Marble Cliff
Yellow-rumped Warblers - decent fallout, with 25+ along bikepath at Scioto Audubon
Prairie Warbler - 1 singing for most of morning in narrow tree line south of the Grange Center
Palm Warbler - 1 around north wetland pond at Scioto Audubon
Louisiana Waterthrush - 1 singing on swampy peninsula at Scioto Audubon
E.Towhee - 6+ along bikepath at Scioto Audubon
Chipping Sparrows - 4-5 around Grange Center
Field Sparrows - 7-8 in fields of Scioto Audubon
Savannah Sparrows - 3 in fields just north of Grange Center at Scioto Audubon
White-throated Sparrows - 30+ scattered along bikepath at Scioto Audubon; another 20+ along bikepath at Marble Cliff
Junco - 2 at Scioto Audubon, 1 at Marble Cliff
