An immature bald eagle was circling near the Deer Run picnic area, approx. 8:30 a.m. today. It drifted back towards the lake and we lost sight of it.

We also saw the eagle on Fr. 11/10. Sharon spotted it perched near the baseball diamond (left side of road, near boat ramp) approx. 8:30 a.m., and we both saw it approx. 9:30 a.m. in the trees near the beach (to the right of the beach, as you are looking out at the water). On the latter occasion it was mobbed by crows and took off; we didn't see where it went. Sharon also saw it near the beach on Thurs. 11/9.
