I won't say this is the first sign of spring, but I was surprised Sunday while
driving down Canal Road in Valley View across for the Cuyahoga Valley National
Park when a male Bluebird darted in front of my car. He shot out in front of me
so fast that I had to break or he would have hit my windshield. With his close
proximity, there was no doubt about his identification. Call it what you may;
his sighting brightened my day with hopes of brighter days to come.
