I noticed there are not too many postings from the southern counties, so I thought I would alert you to some arrivals in my woods. I saw my first hummer today. I heard my first ovenbird yesterday. Female rose-breasted grosbeaks have been at my feeders for a couple weeks and red-eyed vireos have been singing for a week or more. L. waterthrushes arrived on April 6. And...the siskins are still here.

Cheers,
Mary
