Late this morning ( Sat 3-3-07 ) we visited Wellington Reservoir (DeLorme p 40 C-1) and saw the following:
scaup (xxx)

redhead (xx)

canvas back (xx)

gadwall (xx)

pintail (x)

coot (xxx)

ring neck (xx)

grebe (xx)

trumpeter swan (x)

wigeon (x)

bufflehead (x)

Canada goose (xxxx)

domestic goose (x)

bald eagle ( 2 adult )

We witnessed one of the eagles soar and scare up hundreds of the waterfowl: he then snagged one coot for lunch !

In western Medina county on the way to Wellington we also saw two Turkey Vultures !
