A Chukar has been seen in Chardon for a week, and is currently perched on my roof on Allynd Blvd. I presume it is a vagrant from stock for hunters. Still, it is a first for me!
Chimney swifts returned in strong number to Chardon High School on May 1st.
A dozen TVs returned to their Rocky Cellars roost March 15th.
Best Wildlife Preserve has Green Heron, warbling vireos and a few warblers.
My yard has numerous siskins and wrens, as well as a white-crowned sparrow, and all the usual suspects.
