While on our way to the Ottawa NWR Auto Tour today, we stopped at the Lima
Reservoirs and saw the following:
West Reservoir - Canada geese, mallards, ring-billed gulls, TVs
Central Reservoir:
Ruddy ducks - hundreds and hundreds
Pied-billed grebes - 18
Lesser scaup - 7
Killdeer - 1
Ring-billed gulls - many
Northern pintails - 3
Am. coots - 30
Bufflehead - 2
Ring-necked ducks - 5
TVs
Mallards
East Reservoir - 'dry hole'
