Not terribly far out, east of the pier. Good number of ducks here, feasting on dead/dying bait-sized fish, as they were at Lorain earlier. Though the dead fish are plentiful & easy to see to my eye, it seems that these ducks are more into bullying & stealing fish from each other. I've seen some terrific Redhead/Mallard/coot squabbles today.
Between scoters, I led a group of Auduboners around Huntington Reservation (most interesting was a tight flock of 25 Bonpartes Gulls on the ice) & was lucky enough to see the Kassouf's Varied Thrush! Thanks, guys!
