Sorry for the rather late post, but I stopped by Lake Logan late this morning to try and see the ospreys that were reported earlier this week. I saw 2 very large birds that were hanging out from the beach area northward scaring up the ducks/geese/gulls, but I think they may actually be immature Bald Eagles - based on the noticeable lack of any white and the sheer size. Although they were together, I got a pretty good look at one and feel fairly confident that at least that one is an immature Eagle. I'll probably go back out for another look this weekend when I have more time, but it would be great if another "local" birder could check them out to confirm my guess.
